It’s a genius idea to make an expandable silverware organizer! Now I can have more options to fit it into different drawers. Besides, I like that it comes already premade, and all you need to do is to put the kitchen utensils in. Well-made product, happy with itI love how beautiful and well made it is. The adjustable feature makes it easy to fit in various size drawers. It also came with a knife organizer, which can be inserted into one of the longer slots to keep knives neat and easy to pick up. It was plus because I didn’t expect it.What Can be improved is the length of the knife slot. It is less than 13” long, so it doesn’t fit my 13” long knife. Also, where the handle sits, there should be a block/ bar that give support to keeps the knives level. Without this support, some of the knives will have their blades stick up and handle dropped as you can see in the photo on the right. Photo on the left shows the support bar that would have made the knife organizer usable. Photo on the right is HOMBURY organizer when I lay my knives on the organizer. In the end, I just I didnt want to bother with the knife organizer and just laid the knives in the slot directly.Almost five stars. For $20 you get a well built drawer organizer. I use it for silverware. Easy to adjust, has comfortable compartments, even a wooden block for storing knives. The wood is pretty sturdy and thick. This came with a set of stickers to stop the drawer from moving, but they didn't really work.This bamboo drawer organizer expands from 13" to 17.5", and is a full 17" deep, making it one of the largest silverware organizers. I ordered it because I have some extremely large drawers in my kitchen, where I store my silverware and cooking tools. My favorite thing about this organizer is its depth; unlike the usual plastic organizers, this one is much deeper, so it can hold a lot more silverware in each cubby before overflowing. If you have a lot of silverware, this organizer may well suit your needs; it has flexible sizing and can have either (or both) sides collapse to fit a smaller drawer. It has an amazing wood smell that makes me smile. The Hombury logo is burned into the wood, and is very tasteful, although invisible when the organizer is inside a drawer. I prefer to use a knife block rather than store my sharp knives with the rest of my silverware, but this drawer organize comes with a small, removable in-drawer knife block for storing extra steak knives, etc. This bamboo organizer is very well-made and I'm extremely happy with it. It would make a great gift.This bamboo drawer organizer has made a big difference in my cutlery organization. The bamboo wood is warm and beautiful inside the drawer. It expands to fit the drawer interior, and includes enough roomy compartments to provide separate slots for all the pieces, including the tablespoons, salad forks. There are even a couple of longer slots that can hold extra slicing knives and another for odd pieces like the corkscrew and manual can opener. If something spills into the drawer it's easy to wipe down the bamboo without creating water spots. Very nice!Sadly my drawers are very skinny. I thought since this was adjustable, it would fit, no problem. HOWEVER, just it alone without extending, it doesn't even come close to fitting - - no matter which direction I tried to cram it in. However, that said, I love the style. I love the look. It's definitely sturdy and love the fact that it's adjustable to fit your needs. I think more updated homes these days are wider drawers, but 90's homes are skinny. Definitely measure your drawer that you'll be using it in, prior to getting. Maybe I'll take it out to my craft/tool area and separate my stuff out there. I'll find SOME place to put it to use.This expandable drawer organizer is heavy duty and great quality. It has plenty of dividers for all of my silver ware. The added knife block seems like a good idea but wasn't really useful for me as I have a separate block on my counter top so I ended up throwing it away.One thing to keep in mind with this organizer is that it is big. It will fit in a standard kitchen drawer but you won't be able to use the expanders unless it's an oversize drawer. Plus, even then it will be tight. Expect it to take the entire width of the drawer. Measurements are included in the product description so make sure the inside of your drawer before purchasing it. I like that it takes the whole width of my drawer as it keeps me from adding things on the side that will junk up my drawer so it's not an issue.Overall, I'm happy with this and can't find anything about it I don't like.
